We are honored that County Supervisors Lena Tam and Elisa Márquez toured the ag亚游官网 ag亚游官网 Highland Hospital Campus (WCHHC) in August. The Supervisors were excited to have connected with our staff and learn more about the services provided at the WCHHC. Following the tour, we had an engaging discussion about public health system financing led by Kim Miranda, chief financial officer, and Tangerine Brigham, chief administrative officer of population health.
The tour was coordinated by the Public Affairs and Community Engagement (PACE) department that leads the government and legislative affairs function at Alameda Health System (AHS). One of their many tasks includes nurturing relationships with elected officials and advocating for the system to fulfill its mission of Caring, Healing, Teaching, and Serving All.
